Volunteer teachers needed for Palestine education project

With the catastrophic disruption to education for Palestinian students, we have started a project to provide classes remotely from the UK.

Unfortunately, providing remote teaching to pupils in Palestine is not an easy task. The region faces numerous challenges, from poor internet connectivity to a shortage of trained teachers. That’s why we call on volunteer teachers worldwide to help us provide the education children desperately need.

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about education and willing to work with children from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. You don?t need to speak Arabic to volunteer, but it would be helpful if you do.

As a volunteer teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering online lessons to pupils in Palestine. You will work with a team of local educators and volunteers to develop lesson plans tailored to the children’s needs. You will also assess your pupil’s progress and provide feedback to their parents.

According to the United Nations, only around 60% of households in Palestine have access to the Internet, and for those with access, the Internet can be slow and unreliable, making it difficult to deliver online lessons.

To overcome this challenge, we are working with local partners to set up centers where children can access the internet and participate in online classes. These centers will have everything needed to deliver online lessons, including computers, webcams, and internet access. However, we still need volunteer teachers to help us deliver these lessons.

Education is a fundamental human right. We are committed to providing access to education for all children, regardless of their background or circumstances. Together, we can ensure that every child has the opportunity to learn and grow.

Volunteer for our remote teaching project for Palestine!
